Rare Italian Art Moderne Freestanding Bar Cabinet by Paolo Buffa

About the Item
The slightly curved front body with rounded sides and balustrade is raised on long circular tapered legs which extend the entire length of the piece. The legs being part of the architecture rather than attachments adds strength of support to the case. The legs are capped with brass gliders.
The cabinet is veneered with rosewood on all sides and finished with shellac-based French polish for freestanding. Doors are veneered in herring bone pattern.
Inside with fitted illuminated interior in maple, retaining its original mirrored walls, original glass shelves and 3 flat drawers, also original.
The illimunation system has been updated to modern standards. Lock and brass escutcheon are original with later key.
