"Galaxy II" Monumental Standing Cabinet by Michael Coffey
About the Item
The cabinet is divided into two cases that are bolted together with eight sections, each of which has three adjustable shelves inside. Each of the eight four inch thick door opens 180 degrees on custom Soss hinges. The entire cabinet sits on a six inch custom made lucite base. This cabinet represents one of the finest examples of Michael Coffey's hand-carving technique. This piece is unique as are each of Coffey's hand made designs and can never be exactly reproduced.
