Publisher & Printing Details: Produced for Asprey, London, undated c1920s. 12.5 x 8.5cm. All volumes are finely bound in full leather with four raised bands to spine, gilt decorations and contrasting leather title labels. The boards are tree calf, and the boards have inner gilt dentelles. Marbled endpapers.
About the Book: This collection consists: 1. Atlas, a series of 145 coloured plates with a geographical and statistical summary. 2. French and English Dictionary, unpaginated, with appendices of maps, weights and measures etc, 3. English Quotations and Proverbs, iii + 127pp, indexed, 4. French and Latin Quotations, iii + 120pp, arranged alphabetically, 5. Gazetteer, xiv + 680pp, a huge alphabetical round-up of the major towns and cities of the world.

- Condition:A very attractive set. The inner binding to the Atlas is fairly heavily shaken but no pages are loose. The front board of the Dictionary has a diagonal scuff of about 6cm. All the volumes have a small amount of rubbing but remain in very good condition.
