7 foot by 6 foot Parisian Art Nouveau Restaurant Chandelier
About the Item
The restaurant opened in 1905 and this chandelier (as you can see in the last picture of the restaurant) was in a large room in the restaurant. It has 6 large shades on the bottom tier, and 6 smaller shades in the top tier. Half of the shades are in glass and half of the shades are in metal. Each shade is painted and lined on the inside with gilding to create a beautiful glow when lit.
We also have one extra of each size shade in the original color seen in the restaurant photo.
We are fortunate to specialize in collecting from the most important restaurants, hotels, and other historical landmarks in France. The designs of the pieces found are almost always unique and the quality is unmatched. We have other very large scale chandeliers we are bringing from France to have in our gallery.
