Jo Niemeyer
Jo Niemeyer was born in 1946 in Alf, Germany. Niemeyer is a concrete artist and designer. His work is based on the observation of nature through the use of mathematics and especially, the Golden Section. He experimented with various media such as photography and film video. Today, he principally uses painting to compose his graphic works. Niemeyer also realized sculptural objects and big scale projects such as land art, 20 steps around the globe.

This work is titled "Portofino" and is one of his more elusive/rare and hard-to-find images. The print is hand-pencil signed, titled, and numbered (Edition of 50) by the artist. Dean Jackson Meeker (born in Madison, Wisconsin, 1920-2002) was an internationally recognized sculptor, painter, and printmaker. He studied at the Art Institute of Chicago, Northwestern University, and the University of Wisconsin. In 1958, Meeker was awarded a Guggenheim Fellowship for 1959 and 1960 to study printmaking in Europe.
