Anthony Heinsbergen (1894-1981), the foremost designer of movie theatre interiors, created over 750 theaters nationwide during America's golden age of Movie Palaces, such as the Pantages, Wiltern and Tower Theatres.
The theme of the Arabian tale of 1001 Nights is depicted in 3 panels. There are 2 concave panels measuring 4 ft across and 8 ft. tall and one center panel 4 by 8. The concave panels frame the center panel, which can be used as a door, and create an usual opportunity to become the entrance to a hidden boudoir or walk-in closet.
