Antique Edwardian Diamond Bangle Bracelet (1901 - 1915)

About the Item

ANTIQUE EDWARDIAN DIAMOND BANGLE BRACELET (1901-1915) Charming Edwardian bangle bracelet in 18K yellow gold and platinum. Features an ornate diamond-encrusted platinum over a tapered gold band. Built into the focal point of this bracelet is a floral design in a horizontal line of bezel settings. The open work on either side of the platinum setting is also decorated with three diamond accents. All the diamonds seem to be in good condition and have an approximate combined weight of 1.60 carat. This finely crafted piece holds incredible detail and has remained in very good condition for its age. Both the gold and platinum have been acid tested for authenticity. There is some minor wear and discoloration, most notably to the inner cuff, but overall, it remains in amazing vintage condition. Total diamond weight, 1.60 carats. Hand fabricated in platinum over 18K gold. Oval shaped, inside measurement: Length 1.97 inches X Width 2.28 inches. Total weight 10.18 gr. Hinged, with a safety chain. Edwardian took the dark beauty of Victorian jewelry and dyed it platinum blonde. Light and airy filigree, worked with intricate millegrain . *Millegrain Millegraining is an extremely tiny beaded detail that finishes an edge on a piece of jewelry. The detail is applied usually on platinum. The millegrained edges on platinum can be on a fine wire, a knife edge wire, a bezel setting around a stone, an outline of a pattern or design detail, a channel edge, and as with the beads in gold, used to finish a design detail. The millegraining of the metal edges allows the diamonds and gemstones to sparkle without competing with the reflected light from a highly polished platinum edge We offer FREE insured international shipping with FedEx International Priority and Ferrari Express , we also guarantee the accuracy of our descriptions and the authenticity of every item
