Minimalist Bracelet designed by Dinh Van for IBU Paris.
Fabulous sculptural piece, created in Paris France by Dinh Van for the IBU Galleries. This minimalist bangle bracelet has been crafted in solid yellow gold of 18 karats, with high polished and brushed finishes. Composed by just two elements, one of them has the function as a closure system.
Has a total weight of 52.7 Grams and fit a wrist up to 7.5 Inches (19.5 Cm). The width measure is 48 mm (1.89 Inches).
Stamped, with French hallmarks; two times with the eagle's head for the assay and guaranty of the 18kt gold, the maker's maitre cartouche DD associated to Dinh Van and signed, "IBU DD".
The Ibu gallery is dedicated to Ibu's artworks and her personal artistic choices. an American of Ukrainian descent, artist and architect, Ibu identified herself by her initials. Her jewelry design and bronze sculptures focus on materials, and craftsmanship. Ibu died in October 2002, but her work and artistic vision live on at Ibu gallery, located under the arcades of the palais royal gardens in Paris.
Following her footsteps, Ibu gallery also shows works by artists who share common sensibilities and sources of inspiration. jewelry designers include ted Muehling, Aude Lechère, Jean Grisoni, Vincent Vaucher, Alina Alamoréan. Lee Ufan, Lee Bae, Dinh Van.
Jean Dinh Van is a French designer that began is successful career in the 1960 designing for the French jewelry houses of Cartier and Pierre Cardin. In 1972 he started his own company and the followed years his revolutionary designs and style caught on quickly and launched him to the forefront of the jewelry and fashion world. All his designs are very geometric and modern, both, his original vintage pieces created for Cartier and the contemporary creations are highly collectible. Dinh Van pieces are very fashionable, sophisticate and easy to wear, also can be displayed as a small toys, sculptures and "objects du Vertu".
Collateral: It is accompanied by a presentation jewelry box.
Condition: The overall condition of this bracelet is excellent. Beside the little normal wear, there is no damage to the gold. This bracelet has been carefully inspected to guarantee the condition and authenticity.
