Victorian 5.00 Carat Ruby Bangle, c.1880s
About the Item
In this fabulous Victorian bangle, seventeen natural, unheated rubies are claw set into a 15ct yellow gold setting. The rubies graduate in sizes, starting off with 0.25 carats at either end and the largest ruby weighing 0.40 carat sat in the centre. All seventeen rubies total to a substantial 5.00 carat. The bangle measures 16cm.
