Victorian Etruscan Rev Gold Filled Wirework Wedding Bangle Bracelet Set
About the Item
rare collectible Antique Victorian Etruscan Revival rose gold filled wedding bangle set of 2 . Each hinged bangle has applied wire and bead work with a garnet stone in center . Bangles are in two shades rose gold and yellow gold ends . Hidden tongue and box clasp with double safety chain . Unsigned beauty which is acid tested and guaranteed to be gold filled . bangle can fit small to medium wrist size , with max wrist size of 6 1/2 inches .
Traditionally Victorian wedding bracelets were given to bride by grooms side one at the time of engagement which would be worn proudly up until the day of the wedding, at which point the second bracelet was given .Most of the times these bracelets were passed down from a mother to her daughters, and many times they were separated . So its really hard to get a Victorian era bangle sets that still remain intact .
