About the Item
Wonderful silver cuff with two color gold leaves, roses and lilies accented with gold arches. Silver cuffs like this one were made to appeal to all classes of society, including the "working girl". The language of flowers had become a favorite pastime in the late nineteenth century, and this cuff bracelet likely imparts romantic symbolism and sentimentalism that could be decoded in a dictionary of flowers, such as the one that was all the rage during this period, The Language and Sentiment of Flowers, by LV.
The silver cuff bracelet is a medium sized 6 ½ inches measured along the inside and is 1 inch wide. The circumference when measured along the outside of the bracelet is 7 inches.
