About the Item
Art Deco 22 carats diamond honeycomb buckle link bracelet in platinum, Europe, 1920s/1930s. A spectacular representation of both the geometry that characterized the Art Deco period and the elegance of fine details that platinum brought to the jewelry world. This bracelet is composed of two openwork rectangular panels accented to the center with a large diamond surrounded by intricately pierced geometric motifs; these panels alternate with two honeycomb-like articulated sections composed by seven rows of individually millegrain-set diamonds; joined by openwork buckle-shape terminals. The jewel is pave-set and millegrain-set throughout with approximately 22 carats of Old European brilliant-cut and single-cut diamonds, to a platinum mount secured with a click-shut fitting system that is hidden in the design to convey seamless elegance throughout.
