About the Item
Constructed of a combination of Platinum & 14 Karat Gold, Featuring 1 Focal 1 carat Oval cut Natural Blue Sapphire accented with 4 Old Round European cut Diamonds totaling 0.60 carats & 4 Round Single cuts totaling 0.10 carats all ranking a Colorless D-E Color & Nearly Flawless VVS1-VVS2 Clarity. With 4 Trapezoid cut Kashmir Blue Sapphires totaling 0.30 carats & 6 Smaller Square cuts totaling 0.14 carats.
Judging by the superior craftsmanship, this bracelet was most likely done in New York, at the beginning of the Art Deco era, crafted by a master goldsmith, as well as stones set by a European Diamond/Gemstone-setter. Craftsmanship of this nature is a lost art in jewelry today. Exemplifying all of the desirable characteristics in an Art Deco piece, from the links to the period Trapezoid cut Sapphires, as well as the old European cut & Single cut Diamonds.
