Line Vautrin School Green and Orange Talosel Resin Link Bracelet

About the Item

This lovely Talosel link bracelet was executed by one of the students of Line Vautrin in the 1970s. The brown Talosel or resin geometric multi-strand shape is encrusted with green and orange cabochon on a silver foil background. The piece boasts a spring-ring closing clasp and a gilt metal chain for length flexibility. Measurements: The bracelet's total length is 11.44 in long (29 cm) - width is 1.88 in (4.7 cm) - Bracelet's main body is 8.07 in long (20.5 cm) - The bracelet will fit an average Medium to Large size wrist of 7.5 to 9 in circumference. Note: TALOSEL is a material created by LINE VAUTRIN, made of synthetic resin elaborated at the end of WWII. This 1950's patented term is an acronym for aceTAte de celluLOSe ELabore (Elaborate Cellulose Acetate). Note: In the 1970s, the boutique Line Vautrin opened on the left bank in Paris is doing well, but Line is a designer, not a manager, and she needs to be in the creating process. She plans to open and lead a school where she will teach her manufacturing processes. Her daughter, Marie-Laure Bonnaud-Vautrin, taught there for ten years. The students are both enthusiasts who come to spend their free time and also artists searching for new techniques. Some artists who attended the Line Vautrin School include Irena Jaworska and Monique Vedie. Line Vautrin decided to shut down the school in the early 1980s. Feel free to double-check the measurements and ask any questions you have before making your purchase. This item is a final sale. No returns will be accepted for an unfit size.
