A gorgeous onyx link bracelet from the late Art Deco (1930s) era by Potter & Mellen, a renowned jeweler from Cleveland, Ohio. This unusual piece is crafted in sterling silver, and comprised of seven stylish links that come together to form a straight but flexible design. Set in the center of the links is a rich onyx plaque that is rectangular-shaped with clipped corners. Each smoothly polished black stone adorns an alluring bezel-set moonstone at its center, creating a fantastic and bold Deco appeal. The closed-back moonstone cabochons are very clear with pale blue color and exhibit a strong flash. The links attach to one another with sterling connector links and the piece fastens with a push clasp hidden within the final link, a safety chain added for additional security. The underside of the bracelet shows smooth rivets holding the moonstones in place as well as "POTTER MELLON" and a "STERLING" purity mark. A very striking Art Deco piece, it merges effortlessly into modern-day fashion! The bracelet measures 7 1/4" long, and would fit best on a medium/average sized wrist. Each onyx link measures 3/4" long and 1/2" wide. The round moonstone cabochons are 3/8" in diameter.

Wear consistent with age and use. The overall condition of the bracelet is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the sterling silver setting. All of the onyx plaques and moonstone cabochons are intact, securely set, and free of any significant chips.
