About the Item
Old Maharani gold "Hathphool" or Hand Flower with diamonds, rubies, and turquoise. The center piece, or flower, is formed by a round ruby surrounded by ruby petals and a turquoise ring with a larger crown of petals of black gold and diamonds that pave, forming the outer corolla, ending in ruby dots. 4 strings of diamonds and rubies hold the flower in the middle of the hand ending in 2 rings for the index and annular fingers on one side, and a similar wristband on the other. The back of the flower has a wonderful goldsmith work that juxtaposes the Classical Indian design with Islamic decoration patterns like the ribs of a cupola. The piece exudes power and mysticism, love and magnificence. A very important collectors piece, very rare.
