1950s Malachite Geometric Brooch in Sterling Silver and 18 Karat Gold
About the Item
1950s Retro, Art Deco-Inspired Geometric Brooch. Features a Malachite Cabachon, 18K Yellow Gold Fill and Sterling Silver. The 14.5 millimeter Round Malachite cabochon is centered atop 3 parallel, horizontal gold bars. A Sterling Silver Square with a Circular inner cutout is mounted in a diamond position behind the gold bars. The shapes and positioning of each element combine to create Dimension, Depth, and Intrigue.
The Silver has achieved a medium to dark patina. All metal has a high polish finish.
This architectural piece may be worn horizontally or vertically, as a Brooch or Lapel Pin.
