19th Century Italian High Relief Cameo Gold Brooch
About the Item
Finely hand carved in high relief with exquisite detail, this pre 1900 high art Italian made shell cameo brooch displays the pose of a Contessa with beautiful flowing hair elegantly adorned with flora.
This fine oval carving is framed in eighteen karat 18K yellow gold that has achieved a rich warm antique patina intentionally left in its original condition. Measuring 2 x 1 5-8 inches, this elegant heirloom piece is fitted with a pin back and rollover clasp. Gift Boxed.
