Antique 1920s 2.26 Carat Amethyst and Diamond Yellow Gold Brooch
About the Item
An impressive antique 1920's 2.26 carat amethyst and 0.16 carat diamond, 18 karat yellow gold and silver set brooch; part of our diverse antique estate jewelry collections.
This fine and impressive antique amethyst brooch has been crafted in 18k yellow gold with silver settings.
The pierced decorated, circular design displays a feature 2.26ct cushion cut amethyst, surrounded by eight individually silver collet set diamonds.
The amethyst and diamonds are bordered by a white enamel decorated frame.
The brooch secures to the reverse with a hinged pin and clasp fastening.
This antique 1920's gemstone brooch has been independently tested using state of the art technology (Niton XL2 Analyzer) and verified as 18k gold and silver.
The brooch is supplied with an independent diamond grading report card.

Condition
This impressive antique brooch is fine quality set with an impressive amethyst and very well color matched old cut diamonds, displaying a fine white color and brilliance. The brooch is a very good gauge of gold and is in excellent condition, with minor losses to the enamel decoration.
