Antique 3.25 Carat Diamond and Palladium Brooch, circa 1935

About the Item

An impressive antique 3.25 carat diamond and palladium brooch; part of our diverse antique jewelry and estate jewelry collections. This stunning, fine and impressive antique diamond brooch has been crafted in palladium. The brooch has a floriated spray design, accented with an interlacing feather motif. The simplified stemmed design terminates with a quatrefoil shaped floral motif, embellished with a total of seventeen impressive pavé set diamonds in a combination of Old European and eight-cuts. The large feather design is embellished with paralleling pales forming the feather's body/vane and a tapering rachis design to the lower portion, all ornamented with twenty-five further Old European and eight-cut diamonds The interlacing loop array is ornamented with four further Old European cut diamonds to the back portion and seven impressive baguette cut diamonds to the anterior, completing the design The brooch secures to the reverse with a 9k white gold hinged double pin fastening and C shaped clasp. This antique diamond brooch has been independently tested using state of the art technology (Niton XL2 Analyzer) and verified as palladium and 9 carat gold. This impressive antique diamond brooch is supplied with an independent diamond grading report card. Images do not always reflect the true colour and brilliance of gemstones and diamonds. The video however provides a truer representation of the actual colour and showcases each stone. Condition This stunning antique diamond brooch is exceptional quality, set with fine and impressive diamonds displaying a fine white color and brilliance.
