About the Item
A stunning antique Amethyst and seed pearl crowned hearts brooch in 9kt gold.
The crowned hearts were a strong and powerful symbol of love between two people and fidelity or their passion and devotion for each other reigning their love.
This brooch has two beautiful large heart cut amethysts with a lovely rich purple hue, with an estimated 2ct.
They are crowned with a rich bloomed gold crown set with tiny seed pearls.
It has a bar design with the hearts mounted to a 9kt gold knife edge bar and this has a C type clasp and pin fastener.
It comes in the original antique box, such a beautiful and well made piece and would make a lovely gift for someone special or a treat for yourself.
It is Unmarked, tests as 9kt gold, C1900s Edwardian era.
Could be worn many ways including as a tie or lapel pin.
Condition:
Good used condition overall, light surface wear commensurate with age.
