About the Item

Here we have a gorgeous and very lovely pair of antique diamond dress clips that were crafted from solid .900 platinum during the art deco period. Each clip is v-prong set with an old marquise cut diamond weighing approximately 0.30 carats, channel set with 22 straight baguette cut diamonds weighing approximately 2.175 carats, and pavé set with 64 old European and single cut diamonds weighing approximately 1.70 carats. All together there are 174 very fine quality diamonds weighing an approximate total of 8.35 carats with near-colorless F to H color and super clean VVS2 to VS2 clarity. The diamonds are all quite brilliant and fiery and are sure to catch the eye. These dress clips can be worn separately or can be attached to their included frame for wear as a single large brooch or pendant. NOTE: The frame and tension clasps were crafted from solid 18k white gold, so they may appear slightly yellow compared to the platinum, this is normal. All of the clasps and other mechanisms of these pieces are in excellent working order and make them 100% ready to wear upon arrival, however you choose to wear them.
