Antique Rozet & Fischmeister Vienna Puppy Bulldog Diamond Gold Enamel Brooch
About the Item
This charming baby bulldog is an exquisite example of Viennese goldsmithing. This outstanding and unusual brooch has been sawn out of 14 k white gold backed on 14 k yellow gold. It is finely chiselled, paws, tongue and nose are highlighted with iridescent pink orange enamel. The snout is set with rose cut diamonds.
The firm of Rozet & Fischmeister has been active in Vienna since 1770. This masterpiece is signed with the makers initials and marked with Austrian hallmarks.
