The brooch setting has been modelled in the form of a horseshoe displaying twelve yellow gold channel set square cut rubies, totalling 0.30 carat. The horseshoe setting is further accented by a nine Old European cut diamonds, silver pavé set in three clusters of three in alternation with the rubies, totalling 0.18 carat. An exceptional, fine and impressive antique Edwardian 9 karat yellow gold dog brooch in the form of a terrier; part of our antique jewelry and estate jewelry collections. This exceptional, fine and impressive antique gold bar brooch has been crafted in 9k yellow gold. The plain bar brooch is ornamented to the center with a three-dimensional terrier design. The dog motif has a textured finish, replicating anatomical features and undulating hairs of the canine's coat. This exceptional example of antique jewelry secures to the reverse with a hinged pin and hallmarked clasp. The clasp and bar are each hallmarked with the 9k gold fineness mark (9CT).
