Antique Scottish Dirk Dagger Silver Brooch Pin
About the Item
Presenting a stunning historic Victorian Silver Scottish Dirk brooch, dating back to circa 1900. This remarkable brooch measures 4.9" (12.4 cm) long and features a secure pin and clasp, with a weight of 32.7g (1.15 oz).
Scottish jewelry gained popularity during Queen Victoria's frequent trips to Scotland and her Scottish Castle Balmoral in the mid-1800s. The dirk, an extended form of a dagger, was often worn as a ceremonial weapon by an officer to symbolize honor and was frequently used in oath ceremonies.
This beautiful dirk brooch is adorned with natural large garnet-almandine, Scottish agate glass, natural red agate, natural heliotrope (bloodstone), and three sparkling quartz stones resembling the rich amber radiance of citrines. The brooch is set in a magnificent engraved Silver gallery and comes complete with a sturdy pin and catch.
Immersed in history, this unique Scottish brooch is truly magnificent when worn and makes a flawless gift for yourself or someone special.

In all our jewelry items, we strive to emphasize the natural beauty of the stone, using gold and silver only as a light accent, as an organic addition to the magical internal appeal of the gem. We offer the best collection of vintage beads. Turquoise, corals, garnets, amethysts, lapis lazuli, jades, and other unique gems acquire a variety of shapes and shapes and are impeccable in their radiance and brilliance.
