A fine and impressive blister pearl, 0.02 carat ruby and 0.33 carat diamond, 9 karat yellow gold and silver set chick brooch; part of our diverse antique jewelry collections.
This fine and impressive antique Victorian brooch has been crafted in 9k yellow gold with a silver setting.
The brooch has been modelled in the form of a chick, accented with textured details reproducing the bird's plumage and anatomical features.
The body of the chick is represented by a fine and impressive silver set blister pearl.
The chick's eye is represented by a 0.02ct round faceted cut ruby, in a silver collet setting.
The head, wings, and legs of the chick are are ornamented with forty-four pavé set Dutch cut diamonds, totaling 0.33ct.
The brooch secures to the reverse with a hinged pin fastening.
This blister pearl brooch with diamonds has been independently tested using state of the art technology (Niton XL2 Analyzer) and verified as 9 karat gold and silver.
This impressive Victorian brooch is supplied with an independent diamond grading report card.
