About the Item

A fine and impressive Victorian 0.03 carat natural sapphire, 0.06 carat diamond and seed pearl, 15 karat yellow gold bar brooch in the form of a swallow; part of our antique jewelry / estate jewelry collections. This impressive antique swallow brooch has been crafted in 15k yellow gold in the form of a swallow. The swallow's wings and body are ornamented with eleven seed pearls, graduating in size dependent on position within the design. The bird's head is embellished with a 0.03Ct, Old Round cut, natural blue sapphire eye. This fine Victorian brooch is further ornamented with three Dutch cut diamonds, claw / prong set to the leaf design, held in the swallow's beak. This piece of antique jewelry secures to the reverse with a hinged pin and hook fastening. The brooch is supplied with an independent diamond grading report card The bar brooch has been independently tested using state of the art technology (Niton XL2 Analyzer) and verified as 15k gold. Images do not always reflect the true color and brilliance of gemstones and diamonds. The video however provides a truer representation of the actual color and showcases each stone. Condition This brooch is fine quality, set with a natural sapphire and very high color graded, old cut diamonds. The antique swallow brooch is in excellent condition.
