Art Deco Diamond Set Double-Clip Brooch
About the Item
An Art Deco diamond set double-clip brooch, of a fluted scrolled fan design, set with baguette-cut and round brilliant-cut diamonds, the baguette-cut diamonds all in channel settings, the round brilliant-cut diamonds in a mixture of pavé and claw settings, the diamonds estimated to weigh a total of 7.5 carats, circa 1930, overall measurements approximately 45 x 38mm, gross weight 19.6 grams.
Unmarked tested as Platinum and 18ct Gold. Art Deco brooch in Excellent condition.
A fine Art Deco diamond brooch from the collection of Bentley & Skinner, the London jewellers by appointment to both Her Majesty the Queen and His Royal Highness, the Prince of Wales. This is a beautiful example of the double-clip brooch which when whole displays a pleasing symmetrical form but is equally lovely when split into two individual dress clips.
