Art-Deco Platinum and Diamond Clip
About the Item
This striking Art-Deco clip is original to the period, dating it to the mid 1920's. It scintillates with an assortment of round European and single cut, baguette and fancy cut diamonds, having a total approximate weight of 4.50ct of overall H color and VS2 clarity. At 1 1/2 inches in length by 1 3/8 inches in width, it is substantial but is not overwhelming. It is equipped to be worn as a clip or brooch, and can easily be adapted as a pendant or the center piece of a choker. There are no markings indicating precious metal content or the maker but it does test as platinum. Gross weight 31 grams.
