Art Deco Sapphire and Diamond Brooch, Burma No Heat
About the Item
The center of this charming Edwardian / Art Deco brooch is like a tiny flower with petals of natural vivid blue sapphires and shimmering old mine-cut diamonds, floating within a frame lined with glittering single-cut diamonds, finished with sapphire buds and tiny diamond leaves. This brooch is accompanied by a gemological report from C. Dunaigre, Switzerland, stating the sapphires are Burmese with no indications of enhancement.
Measurements: 46 x 22 mm
Sapphires: estimated 4.74 total carats (from 4.30 x 3.70 x 2.75 mm to 6.10 x 4.50 x 2.50 mm) top left sapphire has a small chip
Diamonds: estimated 2.32 total carats, VS2 - I1 range in clarity, H-I range in color
