Arts and Crafts Platinum Amethyst, Diamond, and Pearl Brooch
About the Item
An Art Nouveau period amethyst brooch accented by natural pearls and European cut diamonds in a wire work mounting.
Weighing 2.50 carats, the center amethyst is of rich vivid purple color and sits in a miligrained bezel setting.
Two old European cut diamonds of 0.50ctw with G color and VS1 clarity sit north, and south of the center amethyst.
A pair of natural pearls framed by open platinum crescents completes this organically inspired brooch.
Tested as Platinum with a 14 Karat gold pin stem and locking catch.
Measurements: 1 1/4" East to West by 7/8" North to South.
