Burma Carved Ruby & Diamond Clip Brooch, Circa 1940, Strong Fluorescence
About the Item
Please check out the HD video! Here is a nice carved Ruby and diamond brooch circa 1940. The brooch is set in 18k yellow gold and old cut diamonds. There are 21 Burma carved rubies in this setting. There are 8 diamonds spread through out the brooch. The brooch is about 3.5 x 3 cm. Besides the 2 pins, there is also a gold chain with a safety pin for extra security. The chain is gold but the safety pin is not. Under certain lighting, the ruby glows. The rubies have strong fluorescence (photo #3) under UV black light, a classic indication that the origin is from Burma. Burma rubies is world known as being the best. The photos does not do this pendant justice. This is an excellent gift for that special someone. Please refer to the many high definition photos for more details. We also provided a HD video.
