About the Item
Castellani Micromosaic Brooch from the late 19th Century. Incredibly minute tesserae are hand placed to create the ornate pattern in this wonderful brooch. Patterns of dusty celadon mosaics on a dusty aqua ground.
Exceptional quality 18k Gold braided wire work border with original pin fittings, hook and signature. 19th century Italy.
