This marvellous opal brooch comes from the collection of Bentley & Skinner, the London jewellers by appointment to both Her Majesty the Queen and His Royal Highness the Prince of Wales. This brooch features a central black opal that has a wonderful array of bright colours within it ranging from bright pink to lime green to radiant blue. The stunning opal is surrounded by a geometric, elegant openwork platinum frame set with dazzling diamonds and four lustrous yellow-hued pearls. The overall effect is splendid, capturing the glamour of the roaring 1920s.
