About the Item
An exceptional mid-century modern Ed Wiener sterling silver & malachite brooch.
We believe this to be an early version of Wiener's work, falling right at the middle of the 20th century. The use of malachite is rare in his oeuvre, and this piece is a particularly fine example of the dual purpose silver brooch/pendants. (The attached bail allows of course the brooch to double as a pendant on a necklace.)
The reverse is stamped ED. WIENER STERLING
