About the Item
Edwardian bar brooch with floral coloured gold overlay, twisted wire, and granulation work, set with a small garnet doublet. The front panel is hinged and reveals a secret "DEAREST" message inside. Hallmarked Chester 1904, with markers mark M&V and engraved Rd 231605.
