About the Item
A great Mid-Century Modern gold and gemstone brooch by J. Arnold Frew.
In 14k yellow gold and set with a large asymmetrical rutilated quartz gemstone and rectangular cut green tourmaline gemstone.
The gold has a fine brushed finish.
Frew was an important California Modernist jewelry maker and stone cutter for Mid-Century Hollywood stars and movie industry elites.
Simply a fantastic piece of wearable American Modernist design!
