Large Pave Diamond Set Heart Brooch Pendant
About the Item
A diamond set heart brooch/pendant, pave set with round brilliant-cut diamonds, estimated to weigh 6.5 carats in total, all in white mount with heart shape glass locket compartment on reverse, within a fluted gold frame with a diamond set diamond pendant fitting, gross weight 12 grams.
Unmarked tested as silver (front), 18ct gold (back).

This beautiful antique heart-shaped diamond pendant, from the collection of Bentley & Skinner, the London jewellers by appointment to both Her Majesty the Queen and His Royal Highness, The Prince of Wales, epitomises the splendour of the Edwardian era. Encrusted with an array of dazzling diamonds, this is a truly magnificent piece whether worn as a pendant or a brooch. As per tradition in the 19th century, the brooch has a locket back for the safe-keeping of a photograph or lock of a loved one’s hair.
