About the Item
Povenance: This Pin is from the Estate of Alfred W. Miles, New York. He was the chairman of the Hoving Corporation, and on the board of Directors for Tiffany and Company. Mr. Miles was also Senior Vice President of Bonwit Teller, Fifth Avenue specialty store. He was a well known CPA in New York City in the 1950's.
Platinum and diamond Mid Century brooch, bow motiff, featuring eleven marquise diamonds weighing approximately 2.50 cts. Sixteen baguette diamonds weighing aproximately 2.00 cts, and eighty five round, brilliant cut diamonds weighing aproximately 7.15cts. All diamonds weighing aproximately 11.65cts, GIA color grade G-H-I, GIA clarity grade VVS2- VS1. Brooch weighs 23.5 grams.
