Victorian 1.25 Total Carat Diamond Flower Pin Pendant
About the Item
A beautiful diamond flower pin/pendant from the Victorian (ca1880) era! This exquisite sterling topped 14kt yellow gold piece is adorned with a double layer of diamond encrusted petals that surround a larger old Mine Cut diamond at the center. A combination of old Rose and Mine Cut stones rest in a bead setting, and together with the center diamond, the stones have a collective weight of approximately 1.25ctw. The diamonds sparkle beautifully with every turn, creating a dazzling, light-catching array. Two raised levels of petals create a unique 3-dimensional shape, providing a realistic flower design. A pin and clasp on the back have the ability to unscrew and allow the piece to also be worn as a pendant. An extraordinary and unique Victorian piece, it would make a spectacular addition to any collection!
The pin/pendant is approximately 1" in diameter and about 1/4" thick.
