Victorian 5.35ct Diamond Brooch Pendant, c.1880s
About the Item
This spectacular piece can either be worn as a brooch or a pendant. A 0.95 carat old cut diamond sits central surrounding by a halo of smaller diamonds. Elegantly scrolling metalwork holds a further graduating ring of diamonds, from 0.40 carat at the bottom to 0.15 carat at the top. One final 0.35 carat diamond is found at the base of the bale for a total of 5.35 carat. All the diamonds range in colour from G to H and match in clarity at VS1. Entirely hand crafted in the Victorian era from 18 carat gold, this piece is truly beautiful and showcases the master craftsmanship and opulence this era has to offer.
