Victorian Duo-Tone Euro-Cut Diamond Pendant Mourning Brooch
About the Item
Antique Victorian (circa 1850s) Sterling Silver 14 Karat Yellow Gold Euro-Cut Diamond Pendant Brooch. This is an absolutely gorgeous mourning pendant brooch with a total of fifty-three Euro-cut diamonds. There is one 5.1mm, eight 2.2mm, eight 3.8mm, and thirty-six 2.0mm diamonds for a carat total weight of 3.80ctw. The diamonds are S1-S2 in clarity (G.I.A.) and J-K (G.I.A.) in color. The circular and structural base and pin is made of 14 karat yellow gold while the remainder of the pendant brooch is made of 925 sterling silver. On the top of the brooch is a loop as it can be worn as a pendant. The back c-clasp pin has two pins and a screw on pin (see photos) for easy removal and use as a pendant. There are no markings on this piece. The total weight of the brooch pendant is 11.27 grams.
