About the Item
This is a beautiful, 18ct yellow gold diamond cluster ring. The ring features a central old cut pear shaped diamond and is surrounded by eight smaller old cut diamonds that vary in shape and size. The diamonds are silver set in cut down collet mounts and this leads us to believe that the setting is late Georgian/early Victorian. The ring started life as a Victorian brooch but a modern shank has been added transforming it into a wonderful ring. This work was wonderfully carried out by master jeweller Gaetano Chiavetta.
