Two-Tone Ruby Emerald Matador Brooch/Pin. Absolutely fabulous multi-gemstone Matador pin featuring eight 1.8mm round rubies and five 1.8mm round emeralds. The vivid-colored gemstones are all flush-set on the Matador jacket and top bar sides. There is beautiful floral detail in the 18 Karat yellow gold Matador jacket and the bar pin which is made of 14 Karat yellow gold and sterling silver. It is our understanding that the Matador jacket pendant was added to the bar pin and thus is not original to the piece, that is why they are 14 Karat and 18 Karat respectively. The matching of styles is superb as both pieces work in harmony extremely well. There are no markings/hallmarks on the piece however it is very well made. The total gold weight of the brooch/pin is 12.6 grams.
