Holland & Holland Wood Grain Cufflinks with Copper-Brown Enamel
About the Item
Established in 1835, Holland & Holland are among the world's foremost purveyors of country living and sports. Recently acquired by Beretta Holding, the firm was for many years owned by the Wertheimer family, co-founders and owners of Chanel.
These rare cufflinks feature both of Holland & Holland's most recognizable motifs: engraving and wood grain. Rendered in sterling silver with wood-grain engraving under copper-brown enamel, they measure 15.6 mm in diameter and feature torpedo backs.
Besides the H&H maker's mark, they feature hallmarks for the Birmingham Assay Office and 925 indicating sterling silver.
They're a subtle reminder that the spirit of the country can be found in even the most urbane settings.
