1950s Design Joseff Of Hollywood Gold Cherub Earrings

This exquisite 1950s design is by costume jeweller to the stars, Joseff of Hollywood. This set of figural earrings features a cherub with a small clear crystal in the hand reaching up and also one attached to the lower arm that is dangling an oversize faux ruby crystal teardrop pendant. Eugene Joseff only signed one earring in this well reference design and you will see the signature on the back of one of the cherub's heads. This decadent pair are in perfect vintage condition and would make a wonderful addition to any collection. Made in the USA.

Joseff Of Hollywood was extolled for his high quality costume jewellery during the 1930s and 1940s and often provided pieces for Hollywood epics and for its stars during this era. His pieces were worn by actresses such as Vivien Leigh in "Gone With The Wind" and Elizabeth Taylor in the epic "Cleopatra".
