This incredible 1950's Miriam Haskell brooch and earring demi-parure set, made up of statement hand worked milk glass and a leaf filigree design are rare pieces to behold. The pendent brooch showcases an ornate gold filigree design decorated with milk glass stones and a droplet feature with 3 stones at various lengths. The screw back and clip on earrings boast a floral design with small milk class centres surrounded by small gold faceted beads, with statement milk glass droplets. Measurements of the Brooch Length: 2.6 inches Width: 2.6 inches Measurements of Earrings Length: 1.7 inches Width: 0.5 inches Material: milk glass, metal beads, brass, wiring, Condition: In perfect vintage condition with some light tarnishing to the metal features.     Sublime rare old SET: BROOCH and Clip-on EARRINGS, 50s vintage, in silver metal adorned with colored rhinestones in glass, by French Haute Couture designer ROGER JEAN PIERRE, BROOCH dimensions: 5 x 2.5 cm, EARRING dimensions: 2.8 x 1.5 cm, very good quality, very good state. The French jeweler and designer, famous parurier Roger Jean Pierre has been designing for Schiaparelli jewelry since he was 20 years old. He has also worked for Balenciaga, Dior, Balmain and Madame Gres, among others. He created some of the most extraordinary jewelry for Balenciaga and forged a very close relationship with Christian Dior, creating many important pieces for the House. In 1930-1960, his name was known throughout France. From 1947 to 1958, he ran the large jewelery company Maison Francis Winter. Winter designs around 2,500 jewels a year for the biggest French fashion houses. In 1960, Roger Jean Pierre opened his own studio in Paris. He was inspired by the decorations of the 18th century. Costume jewelry by this master was never marked, usually only paper tags were worn on the jewelry. After 13 years, Jean Pierre decides to broaden his field of activity and opens a workshop. And in 1962, Jean-Pierre made a tiara for Yves Saint Laurent, which was featured on the October cover of Vogue. But already in 1979, for unknown reasons, he was forced to close his business.
