For pierced ears. Pair of earrings in 18 karat yellow gold. The lever- back earrings are each adorned with a coral cameo representing for one the profile of a woman and for the other the profile of a man, all in closed setting with engraved plant motifs. This antique lever- back earring retains another oval shaped cameo representing also the profile of a man for one and a woman for the other, held in the same set and adorned on the upper and lower part of foliage. The antique ears pendants are finished in pendants by a gold pearl entirely chiselled. The lower part can be detached from the coral lever- back allowing to wear this antique jewel in two ways. The attachment system is from the front. Overall dimensions: Height: 6.7 cm, width: 18 mm, thickness: 8 mm. Dimensions of the lever- back part: Height: 2.5 cm, width: 15.1 mm, thickness: 8 mm. Total weight of the jewel: 18,8 g approximately. Authentic antique jewel - French work of the 1830s. Our opinion: These antique jewels have become extremely rare, especially in this condition.
