About the Item

A pair of old Platinum over 18K Yellow Gold Earrings set with 8 old diamond cut Diamonds with open backs, in fine condition. Two diamond stones Ø 4 mm/ 0.25ct. each + two Ø 3mm / 0.11 ct each + two Ø 2mm / 0.03ct each + two Ø 1.75mm/ 0.02ct each. Thus total weight is : ca. 0.8 ctw. Color ca. F,G /VS . No hallmarks,metal tested solid 18K Gold. Made ca. 1900 - 1910s, I got them together Swedish 18K Diamond necklace made in 1918 and Russian made 18K Diamond Bracelet made between 1908 -1917 that will be listed later. Each earring is 2.5 cm long including the hooks . Weight : 1.85 grams pair > Most of the items that we sell are not new at all if not stated otherwise. In reality some colors of materials involved may look a bit differently depending on light conditions, settings and functionality of your monitor and my camera. Your personal perception of colors and physiological conditions of your eyes may also affect the vision of the items. Gemstones may often look differently in different light and weather conditions and time of the day, both indoors and outdoors. Stones of the rings photographed alone may look a bit differently when on hand because your finger makes the back side of the stone closed and light no longer can go through and the color becomes different. Stones with closed backs may seem darker than stones with open backs. Such nuances of color perception do not give any excuse to claim item to be not as described. Some buyers tried to make return of the items and to avoid paying shipping and restock expenses claimed that : " color is different from that on image .. " there are inclusions that I didn't notice " "it looks smaller than I expected" .. Unfortunately Internet sales do not allow us to see the items in person before we get them by post. Minor color deviations may be possible.
