Victorian Coral Rose Earrings Etruscan Revival 14 Karat Gold Flower Leaf Motif
About the Item
A rare pair of Etruscan Revival Victorian Coral Rose Earrings in 14 Karat Gold. The earrings with hand carved three dimensional rose flowers of natural salmon coral. The carving of the flowers is absolutely exquisite! The flowers are set in a bloomed 14 Karat gold leaf motif setting with braided borders that is the work of a master artisan. With stunning fully formed natural coral roses and gold leaves in the Etruscan style, the earrings are exquisite examples of Victorian jewelry making. The earrings date to circa 1850-1900.
The earrings are 23 mm (7/8 inch) long including the hooks. The round medallions are 16mm long and 16mm wide. The earrings are 12mm deep.
The earrings have their original Shepherd Hook hanging wires.
The earrings are 14 Karat Gold.
Together the earrings weigh 3.8 grams.
